The High Technology Crime
Investigation Association (HTCIA) Silicon Valley chapter is presenting a
three-day high tech crime training conference. The training will be
sponsored by Evergreen College & hosted by VISA International and VISA
USA. This
training session is known for its superb content, organization and
added value. This seminar will help you better understand and address
issues associated with investigations, apprehension and preventative
methodologies associated with the newest breed of high tech criminals.
The conference has three days of break-out sessions
where you will have the opportunity to select from many topics of
general and special interest such as: Internet Crime / Cybercrime,
Legal Updates, Network Security, Terrorism and Homeland Security. All
of our presenters and instructors are leaders in the high technology
crime arena.
The Purpose of HTCIA:

The High
Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA)
is dedicated to improving methods for investigating and prosecuting
crimes involving advanced technologies. The members of HTCIA represent
a wide diversity of talent from federal, state and local law
enforcement agencies; as well as the private investigations, corporate
security and the computer science communities.
The HTCIA is a
non-profit organization and is a registered California
Public Benefit Corporation. The Silicon Valley chapter has more than
500 members making us the largest single chapter in HTCIA worldwide -
with a very rich history.
